The Nordic Card Show x PokeKon 2024 was, without a doubt, the biggest, best, and wildest card show we've held to date. Spanning an impressive 4,000 square meters in the iconic Hall. A of the Bella Center, the event featured no less than 250 exhibitor tables, a massive trade zone, a fantastic kids' area, stage activities, signings by Lorcana artist Matthew Robert Davies, a Pokémon tournament, and an educational “Learn to Play” area.

This year's attendance set a new record, with over 3,000 visitors joining us throughout the
weekend. On Saturday, there was a long line to get into the event, but luckily, the weather was
great, and our amazing volunteers at the entrance were quick to get everyone inside. Once inside, attendees were greeted by a wide array of exhibitors who played a crucial role in showcasing the vast world of collectible cards. From the latest releases to vintage treasures, there was something for everyone.

The trade zone, with space for 140 people, was constantly buzzing with activity. Visitors
enjoyed opening newly acquired products, playing various types of trading card games
(TCGs), swapping cards, and simply hanging out, surrounded by fellow passionate collectors.
It was a lively space where the community thrived, with an atmosphere full of excitement and
camaraderie.

The Kids' Zone was another highlight of the event. The atmosphere was electric, thanks to our
incredible volunteers who organized fun and creative activities for the young (and the young at
heart). Stacking Pokémon energy cards, drawing competitions, and a target-throwing game
where players aimed at Pokémon plushies were all huge hits. Both kids and adults thoroughly
enjoyed the engaging activities, which made the area a vibrant part of the overall experience.

On stage, a series of fantastic events took place, including Pokémon auctions, giveaways, live
sports card breaks, and Pokémon breaks. There were also interviews with voice actors and
live art demonstrations by Kristian von Hornsleth and Bi Warming, adding an artistic flair to
the event. One of the most anticipated guests was Lorcana artist Matthew Robert Davies, who
has illustrated many of the stunning cards for Disney's Lorcana game. He spent several busy
days at the show, signing autographs and creating sketches for fans, making it an
unforgettable experience for attendees.

In the Learn to Play area, visitors had the chance to try out various TCG games, including
Disney Lorcana, Star Wars Unlimited, Pokémon, and One Piece. This space was widely
popular, offering both new players and seasoned veterans the opportunity to engage with new
games or perfect their strategies. The atmosphere in this area was buzzing with excitement,
and it was clear that winning or losing wasn't as important as the joy of learning and playing
together.
